Hoover High coach steps down
Is Hoover Gate finally over?
Hoover head coach Rich Propst and members of the Hoover School Board signed an agreement just before Tuesday's board meeting that covered his resignation, effective at the end of the season, and his reassignment as an administrative assistant to Hoover Superintendent Andy Craig until Aug. 31, 2008.
Propst's regular salary and benefits will continue until that date, and the board agreed to pay him a $120,000 annuity. The two parties also signed a non-disparagement agreement.
