Hoover High in trouble

Hoover High (AL), who many of you may remember from the Ohio vs. USA Challenge, they lost to Colerain, is in big trouble.

A report on the investigation into possible grade-changing and other academic improprieties regarding athletes at Hoover (Ala.) High and nationally renowned coach Rush Propst will be released this weekend.

In a meeting Wednesday night, Hoover's school board decided by a 4-1 vote to post the results of the report on its website, www.hoover.k12.al.us, Saturday morning.

Names of students mentioned in the report will be redacted, school board spokesman Jason Gaston said, adding the board did not have discussions on how it would act on the report.
