National Signing Day is always an exciting time inside the Greater Western Ohio Conference and its Central Division and this year proves to be no different.
Some of the top prospects the Buckeye State has had to offer in recent years have come from the GWOC Central and Southwest Ohio. The Central Division’s Class of 2013 is one of the deepest in talent we’ve seen yet.
Several players gave verbal commitments leading up to Wednesday’s official decisions. With many more expected to come.
Centerville offensive lineman Evan Lisle (6-6/265) decided on Ohio early during his recruiting process while teammates, defensive linemen Jake Replogle (6-4/230) and Brant Gressell (6-2/280), will be joining him in the Big Ten. Replogle is headed to Purdue while Gressell picked Iowa for his list of suitors.
Wayne also turned out some DI prospects with quarterback/athlete Javon Harrison (6-2/190) staying close to home as he’ll suit up for Cincinnati; and linebacker Jarrod Harrick (6-1/200) chose Air Force.
There are other commitments that have been made. Stay tuned to TriStateFootball.com for all the latest updates. Keep up with high school football news all year long by following us @TSFootball on Twitter.
