Indiana Offensive POY: Chad Banschbach

Lawreneceburg's Chad Banschbach was named as our Indiana Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.




It will go down as one of the most prolific seasons in the history of EIAC football as Lawrenceburg running back Chad Banschbach was named as our as our Indiana Offensive Player of the Year for a second consecutive season as TriStateFootball.com paid tribute to finest from the Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana area’s high school gridiron at the Year In Review Show on Monday night at Quaker Steak & Lube in Florence.

The senior rewrote the school record books as the Tigers went 11-2 and won the school’s 16th Sectional title. He set school records for rushing yards in a season (2,395), rushing yards in a game (343), rushing touchdowns in a season (36), total touchdowns in a season (41), longest kickoff return (91 yards), kickoff returns for touchdowns in a season (3), most points in a game (36) and most points in a season (249).

The honors and accolades for Chad Banschbach were very impressive being named AP Class 2A All-Indiana, Top 50 All-State Coaches Association and the MVP of the EIAC.
