Morgan Heading To Ohio State

By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

Luke Morgan rewrote the record books at Lebanon during his three years as quarterback.

Last week Lebanon quarterback Luke Morgan decided to pursue his football future as a Buckeye.

The senior announced he would head to Ohio State as a preferred walk on next fall.

Morgan wrapped up a great career by throwing for 2,245 yards (school record) with 28 touchdown passes (school record). He also ran for 832 yards and 11 more scores on the ground this past fall.

He finished his career with 5,266 yards passing (school record) with 60 passing touchdowns (school record) and 20 rushing scores.

We caught up with Morgan and asked him about his decision.

TSF: Why Ohio State as a PWO? You had chances to play and play early at lower level schools?

MORGAN: I have wanted to go to Ohio State my entire life. I didn't think I would have the opportunity to go there, but when I got a PWO I knew that I wanted to live out my dream and play for Ohio State.

TSF: In order for Luke Morgan to get on the field at Ohio State he knows he needs to do what better and why?

MORGAN: In order for me to get on the field I need to continue to work as hard as I can on all aspects of football whether that be in the film room, on the field, or in the weight room.
