FROM THE SIDLINES: “Joey plays the game with a contagious energy and enthusiasm. He is very athletic and intelligent and uses both to his advantage in all phases of the game. Joey understands the big picture and made adjustments on the fly on both sides of the ball. His speed and explosiveness made him a threat as a slot receiver and inside linebacker.
Joey plays the game physically and enjoys contact. As a captain he was a leader on and off the field. Joey has the same energy and enthusiasm off the field. He is an outstanding student and keeps his classes interesting with his questions and comments. Joey is a diligent worker in whatever activity in which he participates. Our student body counts on Joey to be a leader.” – Ron Neanen, Eaton head coach
