Where They're Headed: Division II

By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

Wyatt Running from state champion Clinton-Massie will head to northern Ohio to play for Notre Dame College.

There are primarily two conferences that ate up some of the Tri-state’s top remaining talent on signing day, the GLIAC and the MEC.

Ohio Dominican has had a keen eye on the area while building their GLIAC program and this year was no different with the signing of big offensive producers in quarterback Austin Ernst of McNick and running back Darryl Johnson from Mason.

Up north in Michigan, Saginaw Valley State found workhorses across all levels landing Springboro running back Rahman Hardin, Frank Heimkreiter from Ross and defensive end Andrew McDulin from Madeira.

Tiffin may have gotten the steal of the group snagging Jesse Bray from Wayne.

Urbana is coming off a nine-win season and is moving to the Mountain East Conference in 2013. The Blue Knights went for speed at receiver and in the secondary, but there biggest coup was luring SWOC Defensive Player of the Year Nolan Miller to Champaign County.

Notre Dame College signed a pair of versatile and productive backfield studs in Wyatt Running and Will Mahone along with several other local players.
