TriStateFootball.com paid tribute to finest from the Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana area’s high school gridiron at the Year In Review Show on Monday night at Quaker Steak & Lube in Florence.
Covington Catholic quarterback Blake Bir was recognized as our Kentucky Offensive Player of the Year. Bir completed 65.2 percent of his passes for 2,851 yards and a school record 38 touchdown tosses as his team finished 9-4. That effort earned him Honorable Mention All-Kentucky honors. He started 38 games with 7,565 yards 88 touchdowns through the air during his career while capturing almost every major CovCath passing record along the way.
Other finalists included Tyler Durham (Campbell County), AJ Collins (Cooper), Dylan Hayes (NewCath), Donovan McCoy (Highlands), Drew Barker (Conner) and Max Nussbaum (Beechwood).
