Commins Named Mariemont Coach


Former Oak Hills head coach Kurry Commins was named as the replacement for Tom Crosby as the head coach at Mariemont on Thursday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Crosby retired after 32 years following this past season.

Commins takes over the team after serving as assistant on Crosby’s staff in 2012. In his 10 seasons as a head coach at both Oak Hills and Mount Healthy, Commins has a 66-49 career record.

The Warriors finished 5-5 in 2012, including a 4-3 record in Cincinnati Hills League play.
