By TSF Staff | TRISTATEFOOTBALL.COM

Nominations are being accepted through Dec 14 for the 2013 Linemen of the Year Award.

The Anthony Muñoz Foundation is looking for the best offensive and defensive linemen in the tri-state area to honor with the 2013 Linemen of the Year Award. 16 students will be recognized for this award.

There will be two winners from the 6 divisions in Ohio, 2 from Northern Kentucky and 2 from South Eastern Indiana. The Foundation is accepting nominations now through December 14th. The winners will be announced in January.

From this group of winners, a committee will select two student-athletes to be recognized as the Offensive and Defensive Linemen of the Year. Winners from each division will be recognized by the Anthony Muñoz Foundation at the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Banquet in February.

The Foundation is looking for linemen who are successful on the football field as well as in the classroom and in their communities. All high school student athletes are eligible to be nominated for this award.

This year is especially exciting as it is the first year that anyone is able to nominate players for this prestigious award. Those interested in nominating a player can contact the Foundation at 513-772-4900 or visit our website where a nomination form can be found www.munozfoundation.org.
