McCray, Murphy Honored In Division II

It was Trotwood-Madison linebacker, Mike McCray coming away with the 2012 Division II Defensive Player of the Year honors. The senior has led the Rams to their third straight state finals appearance and hopes to bring back a second straight title for the school. McCray has racked up 111 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, forced three fumbles recovered two other and has two interceptions on the season. Joining him as 1st Team All-Ohio selections are teammates Cody Collins, defensive back Cameron Burrows and receiver Connor Stickelman from Franklin.

Northwest head coach, Chad Murphy was named Coach of the Year after leading the Knights to the first 8-0 start in school history and program's second playoff appearance and first since 1990.
