It took a while for the Clarksville Ground Express to get on track but when it did it left Batavia battered, bruised and defeated. The Falcons scored 28 points in less than 12 minutes, in a second half surge that put the game out of reach. C-M racked up 351 yards of total offense, all on the ground and most of it after halftime. Clinton-Massie will be looking for their second consecutive Division IV, Region 16 title next weekend.

Bayle Wolf led all runners with 150 yards while finding the end zone for the 30th & 31st time on the ground in 2012. Teammate, Wyatt Running pitched in with 111 yards on the ground and his 22nd rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Tyler Uetrecht did not complete a pass but found the end zone twice himself.

Clinton-Massie continues its assault on the record books. Their 42 points give them 696 on the season fourth highest single-season total in state history. They are just 36 short of the record. Kicker Callum Jones raised his extra point total to 89 on the season, tying the Ohio state mark.

Batavia finishes the season with a school record 11 victories and their first-ever playoff win. The Bulldogs were led by quarterback, KeShawn Foley who finished the night with 121 yards rushing and the teams only two scores. The sophomore finishes the season with 1,313 yards and 23 touchdowns running the pigskin. Zainn Ison pitched in with 88 yards rushing and ends a fine senior season with 1,321.

The Falcons will take on Milton-Union (10-0) next Friday night at a site to be determined by OHSAA on Sunday. It will be a rematch of a 2007 playoff games that Clinton-Massie won.
